Some New Equipment Updates

We have seen an uptick in membership recently, with our total count at close to 60 people.  Why this is the case, I have no idea, as we’re not doing anything differently, and  our advertising budget remains at zero dollars, but your word of mouth seems to have been particularly effective in the last 2 months or so.  And, as we always try to do, as the membership expands, we try to compensate you for your promotional assistance in 2 ways.

 If you dont already know this, please DO note that every referral  you make that results in someone joining gets you 1 free month.  

Second, as our membership grows we try to give you avenues to advance your fitness;  and in that vein we have some cool stuff on the way.

We’re getting two pair of wooden gymnastics rings.  While I wont say these will get you your first muscle up, they may indeed help, and our ring demand will correspondingly reduce a little.  Details HERE.

Don W. (of Diet Contest Jump Box Fame)  is currently at work on a set of JERK BLOCKS. Which will be integrated into our upcoming strength cycle.  I’m excited about these and Don, we appreciate your contribution!

Less exciting, but equally important is our recent conversion to 100% Hi Temp (softer/wider) bumper plates.  Total poundage stayed the same but these plates will stand up to a much higher level of abuse than our ROGUE plates, so drop away.

Lastly, you probably have hear me bitching about Airdyne Bikes and how I cant find any for less than a cheap car would cost!   Well kids, cost be damned!   You DESERVE the fitness advancing effect of an impact free exercise bike that resists harder and harder the faster you go, and that has both and upper and lower body component, AND that keeps track of your watts, meters, and calories.  Two airdynes are on the way.  We’ll see if they’re all they’re cracked up to be, and if so, we’ll get two more.  If not, we’ll send them back and look at the c2 Ski Erg.  Your feedback is valued.

    • Yea, I’m pretty psyched for the jerk blocks and the airdynes. I hope they live up to the hype.

  3. Squatmania – RX @ 83 reps. (8 into thrusters). I was really happy making it through the Back and Front Squats. I think I could have finished if I would have paced the Overheads better.
