WOD for Tuesday 8-20-13

Strength 1-  15 Minutes- Overhead Choice (shoulder press, push press, push or split jerk) 4×8 for load.  The two jerk movements go 4×6.

Strength 2- 10 Minutes- Any measure of inversion that’s challenging.  Handstand Holds, Handstand Pushups, Wall Walkups, Handstand walks etc.

Work- for time, capped at 15 minutes.

25 Squat Cleans, 5 Burpees

20 Squat Cleans, 10 Burpees

15 Squat Cleans, 15 Burpees

10 Squat Cleans, 20 Burpees

5 Squat Cleans, 25 Burpees

Squat Cleans @ 95/65.  

If you cleaned on Monday instead of the deadlift, please substitute the Sumo Deadlift @ 185/115.

    made a mistake on the board. I Was 11 Into my 20 burpee’s total reps 111. Wrote 81 on the board.

    Tried some Hand stand walking and was not at all a success.
    128-130 Reps I rested to much not used to the 6 am time either but it had me wide awake for class at 8!


  7. I’m pretty sure this was the first W.W.E.

    I attempted it outside very scaled. 95 lb power cleans and when I realized how difficult it was going to be I stopped at 20 reps so I did 20,15,10,5 and THAT took me like 26 minutes!!!

    Worked on handstand off the wall and naturally and very ungracefully fell flat on my back. I’m okay!
