WOD for Tuesday 2-11-14

Work- EMOM 5 burpees then:
Odd Minutes–Wallballs 20/14
Even Minutes Pullups

Men- Done at 75 of each movement/20 minute cap
Women- Done at 55 of each movement/20 minute cap

Men need to average 7.5 and women 5.5 Wallballs and/or Pullups per minute to beat the cap.

Strength-
EOMOM x 5
8 front squats @ 60-65% of 1 rm.

  3. Tuesday WOD: 70 Wall Balls/ 75 Pull Ups. Once again I have failed to finish in the time cap due to Wall Balls. The good news, only 3 no reps.
    only completed 3×8 @ 165 front squats in 8 min time. Had to stop because I was about to blow massive chunks.

    Monday WOD: in this order Push Press 70 shuttle run 73

  6. 19:52 rx’d with duct tape on my ripped hand – ouch

    stupid shoulder won’t let me hold any weight in the front squat position. Substituted 2 sets of 8 pistols and 5 sets of 20 GHD situps.


  7. Dear god it the timer was going off when I got my last pull-ups and that was doubling up on the last minute. I scaled pull-ups with the skinny gray band plus one thin. I did 5 burpees for the first 10 minutes then scaled to 3 burpees per round thereafter. I rested one round and so the last minute I doubled up….I did 3 burpees plus the last 7 Wallballs to get me to 55, then with the remaining 15 seconds I did three more burpees and the last 2 pull-ups to get to 55. I know I didn’t follow the rules per se, but Andrea was really bummed that I only had two pull-ups left….I couldn’t let her down!!!!

  8. 55 pull-ups with +3 assistance. 52 wall balls – didn’t know I was that close to finishing or I probably would have squeezed out the last three.
    FS – 50, 60×3, 70×1. Yes I really was challenging myself Brock.

  13. 19:58 +2band–my mind has a hard time adding during a workout–at one point, thought I was done w/ pull-ups…so next few rounds I did wallballs..then realized I had added wrong, finished PU on the next round & finished WB on last round

    FS – 2 @ 70…had parent/teacher meeting at 130 so couldn’t finish
