WOD for Tuesday 2-18-14

Every 5th Minute

Run 400 m

Then Athletes choice to the 3:30 mark

a) Sandbag Jump Squats (60/40)

b) CrossOver Pushups

c) Rope Climbs

d) Handstand Pushups

e) Pullups

f) Plate loaded reverse lunges  (45/25)

    HSP = 36
    Rope = 4
    Sand Bag = 23
    Crossover push ups = 28
    45lb. Plate back lunge = 21
    Pull Ups = 14
    A runners day for sure!

    hspu (scaled to ab mat on top of a 25 lb plate) = 5
    rx everything else:
    rope = 2
    crossover push ups = 27
    pull ups = 11
    lunges = 23
    squats = 23

    I really liked this format!


    • I don’t remember my scores but I liked it too!


  3. I rowed 500m instead of running

    Rope: 1
    HSPU: Brock didn’t have it on the board and I don’t remember. Used a plate under mat
    Pullups: 13

    PUshups: 15

    Runs were tough…foot hurts…kept really short strides.

  8. As a newbie, I scored very low. But I liked the workout. It felt more familiar then some of the previous work outs in my first month. Yet it was extremely challenging for me. Thank you.


    • Katie, Thanks for posting. Remember there’s a ramp up period where crossfit is a little confusing, with all the movements being unfamiliar. The more frequently you an come the faster that will change. You’re off to a good start.

  11. id like to add that susan and i only scored so low on the push ups because we tried to capture the werewolf that attempted to rip tom’s leg off. we were unsuccessful and therefore we have no proof of this undertaking. so, we shall suffer the scores of shame gracefully.
