  3. DL = 345, 365, 365 (ran out of time for last set)
    5×500 = 8:49 total. First was 1:44 and last was 1:42 and the middle was around 1:48. Much more consistent than last time when we only did 3.


    • Oh yeah, and my “friend” Steve and I rode our bikes up and back which we found out is 2.5 miles each way. We encourage the rest of you to come for a nice stroll and watch the sunrise with us on your way in. 😉 You know you want to Brock. Don’t fight it.


      • I encourage your fitness efforts regardless of the circumstances! in my experience, when one partner is fit and the other is not, it just leads to hostility and resentment, so my money is on you’re having a long and gratifying relationship.

  6. Of course the repair guy that was supposed to be here before lunch hasn’t shown up yet so I may have to miss today. Still hoping he gets here in the next few minutes and may be pealing in the parking lot a few minutes after 1:30 if I can.

    Made up pull-ups – 12 at bw, 8 at +1. Did better last week but I was pretty tired


  8. deadlift 140, 150, 150, 150. my 1rm (in 2011. eek)before i gave up the dealift in favor of bitching about the deadlift was 155. so, progress. (best part of the day was watching kate’s celebratory jump! nice work)

    FWIW: 295# was my 1RM six week ago.

    Row: 1:36, 1:46, 1:48, 1:48 & 1:50 = 8:48 (0:13 seconds faster than on 4/24)
