Adjusted WOD for Tuesday 7-8-14

Olympic Lifting- Hang Review. Full Snatch. Snatch Balance.

Work 1- 10 to 1 Overhead Squat @ 95/65, 10 Double Unders after each set.

rest 5 minutes then

Work 2- 10 to 1 Hang Power Snatch 95/65, 1 Wall Walk up after each set.

  2. So basically I fucking suck. I would strongly suggest that you never take a break from crossfit. And if you are stupid enough to do so just be ready for to fucking suck at life when you come back.

    I couldn’t overhead squat, even at 30 lbs and couldn’t get a double under for the life of me. Workout 1: 12 min cap and did 30lb back squat (x2 so round of 9 I did 18, round of 8 I did 16 etc etc) and singles. Finished the round of 3. Workout 2: DNF- I let my frustration get the best of me.

    That’s another thing, if you come back and suck don’t let you frustration get to you because then you are stupid enough to quit during a workout.

    (Had I looked at the board first I would have pushed to beat Jeff giving me bragging rights for at least a year.)

    WOD 2- 7:20 with single arm alternating dumbbell snatches @30 lbs and 1 shoulder press @ 85 lbs.


  9. If someone life depended on my Double Unders today…I’m sorry you died a slow pain full death. Just wasn’t there. If you find part of my handle on the floor please save it for me. I think the 4th time I threw my rope to the ground in disgust I broke it.

  10. #1: 10:58. I was super psyched about double unders today. only missing one time. this did not prevent me from being so out of shape that i sucked serious air the entire workout. i got thru 7 snatches in second in about 7 mins but had to skedaddle to work.

    WOD 2: 11 something @50 and scaled wall walkups.


  12. 33:44 1st round 13:15 used 30 for overhead dead and did singles
    used 35 for snatch and walked up the wall as far as possible
