WOD for Friday 7-11-14. Open Gym Schedule.

Friday

Skill Review/Practice. Double Unders. Please look at monday’s video if you have yet to see them

Then- EMOM for a possible 15 minutes
Thrusters Men 7x75lbs, Women 5X50
Pullups Men Bodyweight x 7, Women bodyweight x 5
Burpees Men x 7, Women x 5

You MUST complete ALL your reps within the minute to score. This is a great test of pain tolerance, mental toughness and game planning. One of my recent favorites. Last performed on 1-20-14. It’s worth a look to go back and see the comments. Many of them are funny.

  1. I started this workout with the plan to go every 2 minutes but finishing the round even if it took me over 1 minute. My round times were:

  2. I got 9 rounds. Should of pushed myself harder to get 10. Next time!

    Walked into the gym with some decent shoulder pain, which turned into substantial shoulder pain by 10-11 minutes into this beast …had to step away.

    SP- 30×8, 40×8, 50×6, 45×8


  6. 11 rounds rx’d – worked on rounds 1 – 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14 & 15. Rested on 6, 8, 11 and 13.

    last time it took me 19 minutes to get 10 rounds and I used 20lb dumbbells

    This is pretty fucking incredible considering I scored ZERO back in Jan.

  11. 12 rds RX. Better than last time (10 in 18 minutes) but I think we did 6 reps of each action last time. I could be wrong though.


  12. 10 rounds – 11 would be a ball breaker!


  13. 7 rounds using 50#, big purple and little purple
    sp 4×8 30#


    • Did 4 reps of each action


  14. 8 rounds but went 6 reps instead of 7. Felt like I was going to die on the last round.
