WOD for Tuesday 4-12-16

Primary Lift:  Back Squat 3×8.

Accessory:  3×5 r and l single leg romanian deadlift

Work: EMOM x 6 Minutes.  Perform 5 Squat Cleans @ 135/95 for time.  Drops are fine, but touch and go is better.  Mean and short.

    WOD 1:34* RX I was premature on a few reps cycling the reps fast. I was trying to keep up with Joel!

    6×800 at 5k goal pace. Warmup and cool down jogs
    BS- 85. Tried to go up but couldn’t hit depth. Hip and hamstring tightness
    KB 1 leg dead lifts
    WOD- 1:50 @65. Got faster with every round as my leg loosened up.

    legs weren’t feeling it this morning after a 2 hr, 3 set match last night.

    work 2:27 but i did just cleans 7 each set @75#. my hip had enough squats.

  10. BS 235X8 probably left a few lbs in the tank but I haven’t been lifting much, don’t want to get hurt.

    WOD 1:38 RX no shortcuts.


    • Wasn’t intentionall. My needed to lock my hips on a few reps. I did add 1 second for each time.

    Did Bulgarian single leg deadlift things with KB
